The Ky-Slice board consists of 13 members, with roughly half continuing for a second year. A board term lasts two years, and you can apply at any stage of your studies. While Ky-Slice is an organization under Aalto University School of Business and most of our board members come from the business school, we welcome applications from students across Aalto University. The only requirement is that you are an Aalto student.

A new board is elected every October, with the application period usually opening at the beginning of the month. The application process consists of a written application followed by an interview. Based on these interviews, the new board members for the upcoming year are selected.

Each year, around half of the board is renewed, while outgoing members step down and become part of our active alumni network. This structure allows Ky-Slice to combine continuity with fresh perspectives and to keep developing as an organization.
